This beautifully balanced asymmetrical necklace makes a bold and sophisticated statement. Bright turquoise howlite nuggets make up the base of the necklace. Scattered at the base and side are two vintage bright mango orange tagua nut slices. Tagua nut, known as "natural ivory," is a smooth durable material with intriguing organic shapes and irregularities (many tagua nut slices feature central cracks, but this does not affect the integrity of the slice, especially when time-tested vintage tagua nut slices are used). To create visual balance for the asymmetric placement of tagua nut slices, the pretty looping silver hook clasp is located in the front, to provide both decoration and function. |
